According to Variety, the production for this much-anticipated season will commence in Rome this May, before shifting to the enchanting city of Paris later in the summer. In the upcoming fifth season, our main character continues her journey, managing her life and romantic entanglements in Rome after establishing an office for Agence Grateau, as instructed by her superior. However, her fleeting relationships with the charming French chef, Gabriel (played by Lucas Bravo), and the handsome British man, Alfie (portrayed by Lucien Laviscount), could potentially complicate her blossoming romance.

The first filming will take place in Rome initially, but later on, the French cast will come back for filming, possibly during the Paris production phase. Actress Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu portrays Emily’s laidback and sophisticated boss Sylvie Grateau. Actors Samuel Arnold and Bruno Gouery will resume their roles as Julien and Luc in this new production.

Ashley Park will once again portray Mindy Chen, Emily’s close friend, but Camille Razat, previously seen as Camille on the series, will not be appearing again. This has sparked curiosity among fans about which character might serve as the antagonist in the upcoming season.

For Season 4, it’s uncertain if the new villain, Geneviève, portrayed by Thalia Besson, will make a comeback. Given that her father is renowned French director Luc Besson, there’s a possibility that her role could be confirmed at a later time.
