Austin Nichols Admits Kissing 15-Year-Old Mary-Kate Olsen in Holiday in the Sun ‘Felt Weird, Wrong’

Austin Nichols played a significant part in the 2001 film “Holiday in the Sun.” Although this movie has been popular with many young audiences, the actor more recently reminisced about how unusual it felt for him to kiss a fellow actress who was quite young at the time. During the podcast, Nichols pointed out that despite his youthful appearance – being lean and scholarly – there was an age gap that felt strange to him, as she was only fifteen years old, which seemed unusual.

Regarding the kissing scene, Austin Nichols mentioned that he discussed it with the producer and Mary-Kate’s father to ensure they were comfortable. Surprisingly, the adults appeared less worried than he was. Looking back on the incident, Nichols stated, “Everyone seemed untroubled, while I was quite anxious, but everything worked out well in the end. It was all very suitable for a general audience.
