28 YEARS LATER’s New Trailer Is Full of Frantic Running and Rage Virus Action

When the initial preview for “28 Years Later” was released, I appreciated how it fulfilled its intended purpose. A trailer isn’t meant to be excessively lengthy or reveal the entire storyline. Instead, a trailer is a sneak peek, a tantalizing glimpse into what audiences can anticipate. And when it comes to horror, the more ominous and cryptic it is, the better. The new trailer for “28 Years Later” hits the mark once more by revealing minimal information about the movie’s storyline and focusing on what we truly wanted to see: those swift-moving infected individuals!

In three decades, living in the world has become perilous for most, except for those residing on secure islands. Remarkably, they’ve been managing quite well. However, trouble is bound to ensue when two of their citizens decide to venture out from their safe haven into the treacherous mainland.

These characters have neither a safety net nor defense mechanisms, and technology isn’t an option for them. Instead, they rely solely on their survival instincts and intelligence. The deeper I delve into their stories, the more intrigued I become about their pasts. It is this very curiosity that these video snippets aim to ignite in viewers.

It’s consistently amusing to me that we keep seeing more scenes of the zombified character who bears a striking resemblance to Cillian Murphy as his character Jim. We understand that it isn’t actually him and he won’t be in this movie, but it illustrates how in tune with social media the filmmakers are. I also appreciate the persistent use of the chilling radio voiceover reading “Boots” by Rudyard Kipling. This, along with the high-octane performances of all actors, makes the latest trailer for 28 Years Later extremely engaging and well-rounded.

Here’s a brief synopsis to bring things into focus:
