In the most recent installment of The Young and the Restless, within the Penthouse, Nate queries as to why Audra willingly lets Victor control her actions. He ponders what benefits Victor could possibly receive from his arrangement with Audra.
In essence, both Audra and Nate are at odds over a shared subject. Audra shares with Holmes that Victor’s proposition didn’t cross any lines she wouldn’t entertain, but Nate remains skeptical. Nate expresses his concern that Audra might not stand by him, admitting he lacks trust in the Newmans. He implores her to exercise caution when dealing with Victor.
At the Society, Lily and Damian share a meal, during which she confides about her experience raising twins. She then inquires whether he might help uncover Dumas’ intentions within Genoa City. He cautions that it could be risky and potentially harm his position, to which Lily listens attentively.
In simpler terms, Devon and Abby arrive and meet with Damian and Lily. Later, Damian informs Lily that he’ll contact her soon and departs. Almost immediately, Devon inquires about their conversation. Lily then queries Abby for the latest news regarding Traci.
Later on, Lily brings up her conversation with Damian regarding her twin babies. This prompts Devon to question why she would disclose such personal details to someone they weren’t particularly close with. Lily explains that she enlisted Damian’s help to unravel Dumas’s motives.
Later on, Lily admits that she’s had a change of heart regarding Damian, a revelation that upsets Devon, who assumes she’s developed feelings for him. She responds with an eye roll and refutes the claim.
As Holden and Claire happen to meet, they discover they don’t recognize each other’s names. They then formally introduce themselves. Holden is taken aback when he finds out she belongs to the Newman family.
During their chat, Kyle enters the scene and sees them together. Claire introduces both of them.
After departing, Holden encounters Nate and Audra. Audra kisses Nate, but then notices Kyle and Claire in the vicinity. She alerts Kyle to brace himself since he was soon to engage in a contest.
