This means you’ll have to contend with the Rathalos flying around for much longer. Fortunately, the Tempered Guardian Rathalos retains the same weaknesses as the standard version. In fact, by strategically employing your weapon and armor abilities, you can defeat the Tempered Guardian Rathalos quicker than its regular counterpart. Before embarking on this quest, ensure you have these items with you:

  • Flash Pod
  • Shock Trap
  • Pitfall Trap
  • Armorskin (Optional)

Among all items, the Flash Pod is indispensable when battling either Guardian Rathalos or regular Rathalos.
