Shawn brings Rafe to his home to discuss something important, but things don’t go as planned because their discussion escalates into a fiery disagreement. During the argument, Rafe accuses Shawn of having feelings for Jada. Shawn strongly denies this accusation, explaining that he truly cared for her instead.

After being prodded by Rafe, he openly admits his affection for Jada, which clearly angers Rafe. Subsequently, Shawn receives a phone call and departs the room, leaving Rafe behind. Observing Jada’s blouse, Rafe understands that it wasn’t just a single incident, prompting him to exit Shawn’s residence.

Afterward, Jada heads over to Shawn’s residence to gather her belongings and shares with him that Paulina requested she take some time off. In response, he updates her on the unexpected visit of Rafe at his place.

Later in the show, Sami and Sydney chat about EJ, and afterward, Sami encounters Johnny. She proposes he pay a visit to Roman, but Johnny refuses, explaining that Rafe’s assistance has been instrumental in his handling things.

Later, she drops by to see Roman, who tries to discuss EJ with her. However, Sami’s attention is more on catching up with Johnny. Conversely, the concerns of Kate and Roman escalate when Rex proposes a possibility that Kate might have been the one to shoot EJ.

Later on, Sami drops by Rafe and is taken aback when he shares the news about Jada and Shawn. With openness, Rafe speaks about his sorrow, and Sami admits her remorse for missing out on him earlier. Eventually, they share a passionate kiss after confessing their feelings.

At the police station, Pauline queries Jada about their ongoing case. Jada identifies Kristen as the primary suspect, stressing the importance of evidence. Paulina advises Jada to prioritize self-care, hinting that her feelings might cloud her judgement.

Later on, Xander is taken aback when Vivian appears with the intention of moving in. However, he tries his best to prevent this situation, but she claims that Philip had extended an invitation to her. Eventually, Philip reveals that she was manipulating him emotionally.

In the end, Xander had no choice but to allow her to remain since Philip co-owned the house. Later on, Xander warns her that he would reveal everything to Maggie. Subsequently, it appears that Vilila and Philip might discuss forged letters, suggesting they could be concealing something sinister, perhaps a murder.
