Oprah Winfrey shows deep emotions upon hearing about her good friend Gayle King embarking on a space journey, accompanied by Katy Perry and Jeff Bezos’ fiancée, Lauren Sanchez. In solidarity, Winfrey was seen with King’s children at the launch station, sporting a bright yellow T-shirt as an expression of support for her friend.

Watching the plane depart, Oprah Winfrey couldn’t suppress a series of smiles. Removing her spectacles, she tenderly caressed her face as she admired the women making history before her eyes.

Overflowing with joy due to her friend’s remarkable accomplishment, the host-actress couldn’t help but express her enthusiasm for Gayle during the live broadcast. Winfrey exclaimed, “I’ve honestly never felt prouder of a friend.

She also mentioned, “This isn’t merely about traveling to space. For her, any time we’re flying, she feels as if she’s sitting on someone’s lap during even the slightest turbulence.

In a show of unwavering friendship, Oprah affirmed, “This experience is about conquering a wall of fear, a boundary. I believe it will provide great relief in numerous aspects.” The popular figure then asserted that she motivated Gayle to embark on this journey with the pop icon, the NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, and film producer Kerianne Flynn.

Winfrey went on to say, “I believe that life is all about constantly evolving into the best version of oneself. In my opinion, this is a profound manifestation of who you truly are.

Gayle took an eight-minute trip to space as the vehicle journeyed 62 miles past the Karman Line. 

All the women on the space flight returned to the Earth safely.
