KING OF THE HILL Revival Will Time Jump with an Adult Bobby Hill

If you found it nostalgic to revisit the basement from That ’70s Show with the new series That ’90s Show, get ready for a surprise! The King of the Hill revival is making its way to Hulu, and all your favorite characters are reuniting. So, grab your beer cans, because it’s time to stand by a fence with friends!

According to Variety, the revival of this series leaps forward in time, featuring an older Bobby Hill now working as a chef. It leaves us curious whether Hank is still dealing in propane or has decided to retire a bit earlier.

The original creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels are coming back for the revival of “King of the Hill”. Notably, Judge has recently found success in resurrecting another beloved adult animated dark comedy, “Beavis and Butt-Head”. In this Hulu revival, Judge will once again embody the role of the clumsy father figure, Hank Hill. Kathy Najimy is set to return as Peggy. This news has us feeling all warm and nostalgic, much like Red and Kitty. Additionally, it’s been reported that we can expect the return of Stephen Root as Bill, Pamela Adlon as Bobby Hill, Johnny Hardwick as Dale, and Lauren Tom as Minh. The show wouldn’t be “King of the Hill” without them, but unfortunately, Johnny Hardwick passed away in 2023; however, his voice will still be heard in some episodes.

The comeback of this show has been eagerly awaited since 2017. The initial run took place from 1997 to 2010 and produced close to 300 episodes. It primarily focused on a Texas family, depicting their journey through everyday challenges, growing up, and transformation. We’re curious to see how the series will adapt for contemporary times.
