Money Heist Showrunner Alex Pina’s Spanish Crime Drama Billionaire Finds Home on Netflix; Here’s Everything We Know

Alex Pina, the creator of Money Heist, is coming back with a new Spanish crime drama titled “Billionaire’s Bunker,” which will stream on Netflix. This upcoming series revolves around a group of billionaires who hide in a high-end bunker as World War 3 is about to break out. The show will be helmed by Esther Martinez Lobato, who will also produce alongside Pina.

In nearly every one of Pina’s productions, such as Sky Rojo, Berlin, Money Heist, and White Lines, Lobato has played a key role. Furthermore, this upcoming series marks Pina’s fifth collaboration with Netflix.

In essence, the storyline revolves around a hypothetical World War III scenario where a wealthy group seeks shelter in a high-end underground sanctuary called Kimera Underground Park. From there, they will observe the chaotic scene of their old world disintegrating, layer by layer, above them.

In a more fearful world outside, they’ll find solace in an underground city featuring a basketball court, restaurant, serene zen garden, cocktail lounge, psychological counseling, fitness center, and spa.

The following actors have been recruited for the series: Natalia Verbeke, Carlos Santos, Miren Ibarguren, Omar Banana, Montse Guallar, Samuel Lopez, and several others.

Alex Pina’s shows have performed well amongst the audience as well as the critics.

As a die-hard enthusiast, I can’t help but share my excitement over the rumors swirling about the upcoming release of “Billionaire’s Bunkers”! Although Netflix hasn’t made an official announcement, it seems that we might just be able to feast our eyes on this masterpiece as early as September 19, 2025. Can you feel the anticipation building? I know I certainly can!
