It appears that Ava Phillippe, the offspring of actors Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon, has reportedly ended all communication with her father as per family sources. Despite being frequently likened to a blend of both her renowned parents, it’s been over two years since Ava last saw her dad in person, according to reports from the Daily Mail. The source added that Ryan hasn’t played an active role in Ava’s life for quite some time and she seldom discusses him.

At one point, Ryan Phillippe‘s relationship wasn’t always tense. He fondly reminisced about his daughter Ava’s birth in a heartfelt post, describing how he traveled by helicopter from a film set in Utah to Beverly Hills in 1999. Although they had a well-known friendship previously, it seems their bond transformed following accusations of abuse against Ryan by his ex-partner Elsie Hewitt in 2018. She claimed he had assaulted her and also asserted that he misused drugs and steroids. This matter was resolved outside the courtroom in 2019, with Ryan refuting all such accusations.

It’s been mentioned that things started to deteriorate when accusations were made, with it being noted that Ava found her father’s behavior towards women distressing, which she allegedly considered repugnant. Known for her activism on topics like women’s rights and mental health, Ava Phillippe is said to have grown apart from Ryan after the incident.

After her divorce from Ryan, Reese wed talent agent Jim Toth in 2011. At that time, Ava, who was 11 years old, acted as the maid of honor at their wedding. It’s been reported that Ava viewed Toth as a significant male figure in her life because he helped raise her.
