Joseph Manzaro, the individual who initially alleged sexual assault against Sean “Diddy” Combs at a 2015 party, has revised his court case, eliminating Beyoncé and Jay-Z from the list of defendants in the legal document. On April 11, 2025, this amendment was filed in Florida. The initial lawsuit suggested that Manzaro had been drugged and transported to a party held at a Miami property owned by Gloria and Emilio Estefan, where Christian Combs (Sean’s son) was celebrating his birthday.
Back when I found myself in an utterly unfathomable situation, I, the devoted fanboy that I am, couldn’t help but feel the chill down my spine as I recount the harrowing tale that unraveled on Star Island. You see, I was led to believe that I had been spiked with some concoction and found myself in the residence of the Estefans – a place I had only dreamt of visiting.
In the blink of an eye, Gloria Estefan, the woman whose voice has been the soundtrack of my life, caught sight of me in a state that was far from my usual vibrant self. It was then that I claimed, with all sincerity, that she had requested medical assistance – an ambulance to be precise. However, it was Emilio Estefan who allegedly stepped in and whisked her away, leaving me to grapple with the bewildering events that had unfolded before my very eyes.
Based on the allegations, Manzaro was made to publicly display himself wearing a phallic costume at another gathering against his will. The incident was referred to as a ‘freak show’, and it was claimed that he was submitted to humiliating and unwanted actions without consent.
The legal team for Jay-Z and Beyoncé presented proof showing they weren’t at the party under investigation. An article from New York University’s newspaper in 2015 indicated that Jay-Z was elsewhere, attending a university event. Furthermore, pictures from The Daily Mail demonstrated that both Jay-Z and Beyoncé were on vacation in Hawaii around the time of the alleged incident.
As a die-hard fan of Jay-Z, I feel compelled to share some exciting news! Jay-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, recently clarified that my idol was not present at the event in question. Mr. Spiro stated, “Jay-Z was immersed in public activities that can be easily verified, confirming he was not a part of this event.” Isn’t it great to know that our man was out there making history while we were all wondering where he was? I’m just so grateful for his dedication to his craft and the transparency from his team! #JayZ #FanForLife
In response to the accusations, Combs’ legal representatives issued a statement, labeling the claim as a desperate ploy for attention and monetary gain. They went on to say that “No reasonable person would find this account believable.” They also mentioned that Combs is eager to defend himself in a court of law.
