Patrick Schwarzenegger’s future wife, Abby Champion, was taken aback by the incestuous scene featuring Patrick in The White Lotus season 3. This was surprising because she wasn’t aware of the plot twists, even though Patrick himself was part of the show, as he shared during his interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on April 10.

He informed the host that he hadn’t shared any information about the show with anyone else. His fiancée was persistently asking him for spoilers such as who dies or if there are any romantic scenes. Schwarzenegger could only respond with “Baby, you know The White Lotus,” suggesting that the show is unique due to its unexpected twists and bold content.

However, he didn’t reveal the specifics. Instead, he said something like, “I’m not spilling the beans about who meets their end! I put my reputation on the line. Mike [White, the show’s creator] might kick me off if I do,” he reminisced to Champion. Since she was clueless, the incest scene between their characters left her puzzled – just as it did for the viewers.

He remembered her exclaiming something like, “‘Did you date your own brother?'” which had Jimmy Fallon in stitches. In episodes 5 and 6, Saxon (played by Schwarzenegger) shared a kiss with his younger brother Lochlan Ratliff (portrayed by Nivola), and even received a suggestive gesture from him during a rowdy night of partying. It’s no surprise Champion was hesitant about filming that scene!

Contrarily, Nivola, unlike his fellow actor and screen sibling, found it challenging to maintain secrecy about the scenes. “I’ve shared the news with my parents,” he confessed to Variety, “but I haven’t told my sister yet. She’s not great at keeping secrets.

In a recent interview, the actor from “The Perfect Couple” shared that despite being bound by numerous confidentiality agreements, he disclosed to his girlfriend, Iris Apatow, who was present during filming of the scene, “That’s essentially all I can say. I’m quite anxious about potential legal action from HBO,” he added.
