Having already won hearts worldwide through his athletic prowess, he has ventured into the realm of filmmaking by establishing a film studio– UR-MARV, in partnership with renowned director Matthew Vaughn.
Despite appearing to be unfamiliar ground, it’s important to note that Vaughn has actually been a significant figure in this field for quite some time. He’s renowned for directing projects such as Kingsman: The Secret Service, X-Men: First Class, Stardust, and numerous others.
It appears that the news of the duo’s latest undertaking was posted on Ronaldo’s social media platform, specifically his X account, on Thursday. Moreover, it was disclosed that they have not only funded but also produced two action-themed projects and are set to start work on the third one in the same series.
In the announcement post, it was noted that just like Vaughn’s passion for sports, Ronaldo has a deep affection for movies. Additionally, it was revealed that they both appreciate well-told narratives or stories.
It’s also stated that they are both pioneers who have caused disruption in their respective fields. They are now merging the realms of sports and storytelling by introducing UR-MARV, an autonomous film production company that uses advanced technology while respecting tradition.
About the latest venture, Ronaldo expressed his excitement, mentioning that this is an exciting new phase for him, full of upcoming business opportunities which he eagerly anticipates.
Alternatively, the filmmaker expressed that the athlete has crafted tales on the field which he himself couldn’t write, and he eagerly anticipates creating “inspirational” movies together. Moreover, he considers the athlete as a true-life superhero.
