In this thrilling installment, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) are joining forces once more, but this time their alliance is not forged behind bars. At the GCAC, Martin struggles to maintain his Alan Laurent deception for a while longer. Yet, once Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) verifies that Martin is indeed Traci Abbott’s twin, Traci feels it’s necessary to confront him head-on. She insists Martin disclose the truth about his identity – if he genuinely cared for her all along.
Martin’s complicated emotions towards Traci might lead him to reveal the truth: he’s actually been pretending to be Alan and misleading her this entire time.
In the meantime, Conner Flood’s character, Chance Chancellor, is moving closer to confirming Martin’s guilt. There seems to be a possibility of fingerprint evidence that ties Martin to the farmhouse where Sharon and Phyllis were kept captive. It appears that Chance could soon arrest Martin and take him to the GCPD. However, Martin might try a desperate last attempt to flee, but he finds himself at a significant disadvantage as he’s surrounded by Chance, Traci, Ashley, and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
In another setting, Phyllis questions Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) about her intentions towards Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). While Summer might dismiss the idea, Phyllis remains somewhat skeptical.
With Martin’s impending arrest, it’s expected that Sharon and Phyllis will be kept informed and will ultimately unite to take on their past tormentor head-on. Their shared experiences in captivity may have given them a formidable strength, as they ready themselves to deal with Martin once and for all.
