In a recent development, actor Adam Mondschein, known for his role in It Ends With Us, has publicly challenged Blake Lively’s account of events during filming. He has made it clear that he stands ready to provide testimony in any potential future legal proceedings regarding the matter.

According to a statement he made on April 8, as reported by Page Six, Mondschein disputed Lively’s version of events. He stated that he couldn’t have predicted her account of what happened, and in his opinion, the work environment during the filming was both professional and respectful.

According to Mondschein, my work experience with her doesn’t match what she claimed in her lawsuit. In fact, reading her account left me quite taken aback.

In February 2025, Lively’s amended lawsuit asserts that the filming environment was disorganized, lacking established protocols for shooting intimate scenes. It is alleged that she was pressured to perform semi-nude scenes, with the claim that she was exposed from the waist down and placed in stirrups without sufficient privacy or coverage, according to the complaint.

According to People, Lively’s legal team stated that Baldoni’s conditions enabled non-essential personnel to be present during a scene where Ms. Lively was semi-nude from the chest down, with her legs apart in stirrups, and only a minimal cloth covering her intimate areas.

Vibrant claims that she was left uncovered during breaks in filming, only receiving a covering item after repeatedly asking for it.

The criticism additionally criticized the decision to have Mondschein, who seems to be related to Baldoni, play the on-screen gynecologist, arguing that it was inappropriate due to the intimate nature of the scenes they were required to act out together.

In response to the given narrative, Mondschein countered this version of events by clarifying that the elaborate wardrobe and prosthetics seen during filming were merely part of the production process. He emphasized that Lively appeared at ease throughout filming and never expressed any discomfort. Moreover, he defended himself against allegations of nepotism in his casting, denying these claims entirely and underscoring his qualifications for the role instead.

He noted that the implied doubts about his qualifications by Ms. Lively were disrespectful, since his credentials can be readily found with an online search.

According to a source from People magazine, Lively expressed feeling very uneasy upon discovering that the colleague who was positioned near her lower body was actually the boss’s close friend.

Nevertheless, it appears Baldoni was firm about having his friend enact the part featuring Lively’s birth scene, with an uncovered body. Mondschein mentioned, “Should I be required to testify in this matter, I will truthfully respond to any questions asked, benefiting from all the legal protection that entails.
