Previously, Dr. Sophie Chandauka, the chairperson, had made some critical statements against Meghan and Prince Harry following their departure from the charity. Recently, he alleged that Meghan created a commotion when she unexpectedly attended the Sentebale Polo event. The issue for the charity is said to have originated with Meghan, as she expressed disinterest in socializing and meeting others involved in the event. According to a source, Dr. Chandauka intended to introduce Meghan to other attendees but was rebuffed by her.
Rather than choosing to attend to the tasks requested of her staff, the Duchess opted to visit with her friend Serena Williams instead. The situation left some staff feeling disrespected on that particular day as they were called upon to fetch champagne for Meghan, causing a flurry of activity. Both Sentebale and Archewell staff were tasked with this responsibility, which was met with dissatisfaction by the Sentebale team.
