Halle Berry is ‘Fan’ of Chris Hemsworth After MCU Star Took Stand for Her on Crime 101 Sets: ‘I’m Gonna Follow This Guy…’

Halle Berry shared a story about Chris Hemsworth defending her on the set of Crime 101, which made her admire him deeply. At CinemaCon, where they were both promoting their upcoming project, Berry spoke with E! News and explained how Hemsworth demonstrated his character by standing up for a woman.

Chris Hemsworth replaced Pedro Pascal in the lead part of the Amazon Prime Video movie because Pascal couldn’t take on the role due to scheduling issues. Moreover, Hemsworth mentioned that he had admired Angelina Jolie’s work for quite some time and was excited about the opportunity to collaborate with her as a co-star.

Expressing admiration for Hemsworth, the actress from Monster’s Ball expressed, “He’s truly a remarkable man. There’s a story I won’t delve into now, but during our film, he showed exceptional courage on my behalf. That very instance, I decided then and there that I would be a fan of him for life, because he stood up for a woman.

She further added, “He didn’t have to do it and he did it.”

Regarding the film, Chris Hemsworth (the star of Extraction) is set to take on the character of a jeweler burglar alongside Berry, playing the part of an insurance agent.

While talking about Halle Berry, who played Catwoman, Hemsworth mentioned that he felt quite awestruck by her presence. He explained, “I’ve long admired Halle’s acting skills. Sitting across from her during a scene and not being completely overwhelmed by her performance was definitely a challenge for me.

Moreover, alongside Hemsworth and Berry, the film’s cast also features Mark Ruffalo, Monica Barbaro, and Barry Keoghan.

Regarding future endeavors, Chris Hemsworth will once again embody the legendary character Thor in the upcoming movie titled Avengers: Doomsday.
