‘Too Many Losing Heroines!’ Confirms Second Season with Trailer

2021 saw the commencement of Takibi Amamori’s “Too Many Losing Heroines!” (or “Makeine”) light novel series. This series has already produced seven main volumes and an additional one as of this writing.

In July 2024, the series had its anime debut and concluded following 12 episodes. While a second season hadn’t been announced yet back then, enthusiasts of this captivating romantic comedy can take comfort in knowing that there is still hope.

To clarify, it’s official – the creators behind the anime have announced that we will indeed be getting a second season, and they’ve even launched a trailer for it!

Before we continue, here is the trailer:

Clearly, what you’re looking at isn’t a full-blown trailer, but rather a tantalizing sneak peek. Yet, for devoted fans of this series who have been eagerly waiting since the conclusion of the first season, this brief glimpse is a delightful reminder that their favorite anime is making a comeback. It’s been quite some time since the initial season wrapped up, and in those months, there had been no updates regarding the series’ future.

The first season introduced the voice artists behind Kazuhiko Nukumizu (voiced by Shūichirō Umeda), Anna Yanami (Hikaru Tohno), Remon Yakishio (Shion Wakayama), Chika Komari (Momoka Terasawa), Kaju Nukumizu (Minami Tanaka), Koto Tsukinoki (Atsumi Tanezaki), Shintarō Tamaki (Yūsuke Kobayashi), Sayo Konuki (Chiwa Saitō), Yumeko Shikiya (Chika Anzai), and Asami Kondō (Akira Sekine).

As a devoted film enthusiast, I’m hopeful that all our favorite characters will reappear in the next season. However, as of now, there’s no definitive news on whether it’ll happen or not. Rest assured, we’ll share more details as soon as they become available, so stay tuned!
