Dandadan Season 2: Release date and where to watch
Starting July 3, 2025, at 12:26 am Japan Standard Time (JST), Dandadan Season 2 will commence its weekly broadcast in Japan on MBS, TBS, and associated channels. For viewers worldwide, streaming platforms such as Crunchyroll and Netflix are set to distribute the season with English subtitles, just like they did for the initial season.
Before its television premiere, the opening acts of Season 2, together with the final episode of Season 1, will play in cinemas under the name “Dandadan: Evil Eye”. This cinema release features the consecutive showing of the first four episodes from the Evil Eye storyline.
Beginning May 30, the anime film “Dandadan: Evil Eye” will be shown outside Japan in various Asian nations such as India, Taiwan, and Singapore. Screenings in North America kick off on June 6 courtesy of GKIDS, followed closely by European releases through ADN starting June 7.
Dandadan Season 2: Expected plot and more
In Season 2 of Dandadan, we’ll keep following Yukinobu Tatsu’s manga, progressing from the Cursed House storyline and venturing into the Evil Eye and Kaiju story arcs. Since the Evil Eye Arc started in the last episode of the first season, the new season will seamlessly expand on events that have already happened.
The upcoming episodes will feature the Evil Eye, now dwelled within Jiji. From now on, Momo, Okarun, and the rest of them must care for the boy while simultaneously seeking methods to manage or confine this harmful spirit. This situation seems to follow a pattern similar to that of Okarun and Turbo Granny, as well as Aira and Acrobatic Silky.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that the upcoming season promises to delve into chapters up to number 73 of the captivating “Dandadan” manga series. This intriguing storyline continues to unfold on Shonen Jump+, and I can hardly wait! In Japan, a total of 19 volumes of the “Dandadan” manga have been published, with 16 of those already available or announced for release in English through VIZ Media. I’m eagerly anticipating each new chapter!
*At the moment of publishing, the given release dates and timings are correct. However, they may be adjusted by the creators whenever they see fit.*
