‘Mario Kart World’: All the Tracks We Know About So Far

The Mario Kart World could potentially be the largest game in the series so far! Featuring races that accommodate as many as 24 players, new play modes, and open-world driving to boot, it seems jam-packed with innovative concepts. However, what fans are most curious about is: which tracks will we get to race on?

From what’s been revealed thus far, we’ve scoured trailers, images, and gameplay footage to identify the race tracks that have been officially confirmed by Nintendo (not yet released in full).

Mushroom Cup

  • Mario Bros. Circuit
  • Crown City
  • Whistlestop Summit
  • DK Spaceport

Flower Cup

  • Desert Hills
  • Shy Guy Bazaar
  • Wario Stadium
  • Airship Fortress

Star Cup

  • DK Pass
  • Starview Peak
  • Sky-High Sundae
  • Wario Shipyard

Shell Cup

  • Koopa Troopa Beach
  • Faraway Oasis
  • Crown City
  • Peach Stadium

Banana Cup

  • TBA

Leaf Cup

  • TBA

Lightning Cup

  • TBA

In most cases, each cup contains four distinct races. Given that we’ve identified at least seven cups, it’s possible there could be as many as 28 unique race tracks in total. However, intriguingly, a map on Nintendo’s website displays 29 separate tracks. It’s plausible that one cup might have an additional race, or perhaps one is exclusive for a new game mode such as Knockout Mode. We’ll just have to be patient and find out the answer later.

It appears that some beloved tracks are making a comeback! Both Wario Stadium and Sky-High Sundae have been sighted. With updates, these classic courses should function seamlessly with the latest features and accommodate larger racing crews.
