Blake Lively’s Attorneys Say Justin Baldoni is ‘Hell Bent’ on Destroying It Ends With Us Co-Star: ‘Man Who Has Built His Brand on…’

The legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni is heating up, with fresh statements emerging from both sides. Notably, Lively recently submitted a motion to dismiss Baldoni’s USD 400 Million defamation countersuit against her, following her December lawsuit accusing him of sexual harassment during the production of It Ends With Us. In retaliation, Baldoni’s legal team has countered this move, claiming it is an attempt to tarnish their and Wayfarer Studios’ reputations.

In a statement to TMZ, lawyers Mike Gottlieb and Esra Hudson for Blake Lively have accused Justin Baldoni of going against the values he claims to uphold with his brand. They stated that Baldoni, who is known for advocating for victims, thinks that the First Amendment rights of victims of sexual assault and harassment to speak out should be overridden by the right of perpetrators to sue their accusers relentlessly. Additionally, they alleged that Baldoni and his lawyer, Bryan Freedman, are determined to tarnish Lively’s reputation.

This action is a result of Jane the Virgin’s legal team using Lively’s First Amendment rights to summon him to court over allegations that he claims are false and damaging. However, Freedman stated to People Magazine that his client cannot be prevented from exercising their constitutional right to petition the court to have their name cleared from the actress’s false and harmful statements.

Freedman stated, “Ms. Lively’s actions could establish a risky pattern by denying access to the courtroom for my clients and penalizing them for exercising their constitutional right to be heard, as guaranteed by the First Amendment.
