Khloé Kardashian has expressed contentment with the two children she currently has. The co-founder of Good American, who is the mother of a 6-year-old daughter named True and a 2-year-old son called Tatum (both shared with ex Tristan Thompson), seems to have no plans for further family growth. On her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land, she discussed parenting, relationships, and her aspirations for her children’s future, suggesting that her family is complete as it is.
In a chat with trainer Gunnar Peterson, Kardashian playfully countered his comment about having five kids by saying, “Actually, I’m content. I have my two, and I get to spend time with many others who are like children to me.” Peterson agreed that she had plenty of nieces, nephews, and perhaps more to keep her occupied, making Kardashian laugh as she replied, “I look after quite a few [people]. I’m good. I feel fulfilled.
Kardashian is happy with the way her family is now, but she wants her kids to have someone like a father in their lives. In a previous podcast discussion, she shared that although she’s not planning on dating yet following her breakup with Thompson, she aims to show them a model of a nurturing relationship between adults for True and Tatum.
She clarified, “I don’t require a partner for practical purposes, but I long for companionship and shared experiences… and to build cherished memories together. I wish for my children to witness a relationship between a Mother and a Father, even if he isn’t their biological father.
Kardashian has openly discussed how True misunderstands the nature of her relationship with Thompson, as if they are still married. In a recent episode of ‘The Kardashians’, she disclosed that her daughter continues to think that her parents are legally wed. Despite wanting to shield her children from adult complications, Kardashian aims to present a wholesome and loving relationship for them in the future.
Currently preoccupied with nurturing her two children, Kardashian feels content that her family is currently complete – but who knows what the future may hold given her close connections within her extended family. It’s clear, though, that her home will always be filled with warmth and joy.
