For now, Belle’s strategy to trick EJ backfired. Determined to get him to confess about kidnapping Rafe, Belle tried to rekindle their relationship while secretly wearing a hidden recording device.
Instead, EJ proved swifter than Belle and reversed their positions. She teased Belle and demanded proof. Without a confession, Belle was forced to withdraw hastily, acknowledging that EJ had won the contest.
In a desperate state, Steve and Marlena persistently hunted for John throughout Tallinn. They forced their way into a concealed facility and encountered a man near death who disclosed that John had been kidnapped using an unusual gadget.
The enigmatic final utterance, “Rosebud,” sent a chill down Marlena’s spine. Not long after, Paul arrived at Steve and Marlena’s home. They discovered a document marked “Rosebud,” which Steve promptly sent to the ISA, hoping it might reveal John’s location.
In a startling turn of events, Orpheus came close to killing Andrew when he brandished a firearm. Yet, Paul intervened by firing at Orpheus, causing him to drop his weapon. In response, Andrew booted the gun aside. Despite Paul’s persistent probing for information, Orpheus remained tight-lipped about “Rosebud.
Later on, Kristen challenges EJ about their shared mother, seeking explanations. With growing frustration and unwavering resolve, Kristen leaves the mansion, armed with a collection of weapons and a firm intention to act.
