Ronny Chieng Joins KING OF THE HILL Revial Cast as Kahn, OG Actor Now Plays Dale Gribble

Initially, it appeared that the cast for the revival of “The King of the Hill” would be simple – all the original voice actors were set to return for season 14. Regrettably, one beloved voice, that of Johnny Hardwick who played Dale, will only feature in a few episodes of the revival. Tragically, Hardwick passed away during production of season 14. In the end, he voiced six out of ten episodes of the “King of the Hill” revival. The remaining scenes featuring Dale will now be voiced by Toby Huss, who previously lent his voice to Kahn in the original series. However, this time, Huss won’t be taking on two roles as comedian and “The Daily Show” host Ronny Chieng has joined the revival cast to voice Kahn. Instead of Huss playing dual roles, it seems that Chieng will be stepping into the role for the new episodes.

Ronny Chieng, known for his comedic prowess, has been announced as part of the cast in the revival of “King of the Hill.” Specifically, he will be reprising the role of Kahn Souphanousinphone, a character who lives next to Hank and is well-known for his arrogance and competitive nature. Kahn resides with his wife Minh and has an air of superiority towards his Arlen neighbors. He frequently clashes with Hank in his relentless pursuit to ‘win’ at life. Despite loving his daughter Connie, he tends to try and manage her life and believes she is too good for association with Bobby Hill.
