Tamara Braun announces she’s leaving “Days of Our Lives“. On Instagram, she shared with her followers that this isn’t an April Fool’s joke and disclosed her final day at work on the show’s set.
In the movie, the actress plays the character Ava. However, in a statement to her supporters, Braun clarified that contrary to what might seem like an April Fool’s prank, it’s not.
She also mentioned, “Ava will be leaving Days for good this week, it’s just the last couple of days left. It’s unfortunate but accurate. I haven’t been there since July last year, but you can still see Ava on your screens until April 3rd! I genuinely miss my co-stars on Days. They are a wonderful and caring group of people, and working with them was a pleasure.
In 2008, Braun took on the character Ava when she started on the show for the first time. She earned her inaugural Emmy award the following year, in the Best Supporting Actress category. The actress who plays the lead in Stalked by My Ex came back to this role in 2011 after a short absence.
Speaking candidly about her departure from the series, the representative for Days of Our Lives explained that it was primarily driven by the natural fluctuations in daytime narrative development.
Apart from her role on the NBC daytime drama, Braun has additionally appeared in series such as General Hospital and All My Children. In these shows, she played characters named Kim Nero and Reese Williams respectively.
