After Charlie Cox’s Daredevil Born Again Return, Finn Jones Wants This Future for Iron Fist in the MCU: ‘I’m Here’

It appears that most street-level superheroes are now part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With Charlie Cox causing a stir in Hollywood with Daredevil’s comeback on Disney+, Finn Jones has expressed his desire to resume his role as Iron Fist.

In 2017, Finn Jones made his debut as Danny Rand in the Iron Fist series on Netflix. The show lasted for two seasons, and he also played the role in The Defenders.

More recently, during a panel at LaConve anime convention in Mexico, the actor from Game of Thrones addressed criticisms about his portrayal and character, saying, ” frankly, I ask for an opportunity. I’m here and eager. I aim to disprove the naysayers. So I genuinely hope this opportunity presents itself.

Finn Jones garnered significant acclaim from viewers upon his debut as Danny Rand, also known as the Iron Fist. He encountered tough adversaries like Davos, nicknamed the Steel Serpent, and Typhoid Mary during his screen time.

In the series, Davos is shown as a past companion of Rand, but he’s also revealed to be the son of Lei Kung. Conversely, Typhoid Mary is portrayed as an expert marksman and a renowned assassin.

Davos, who used to be friends with Rand, was also identified as Lei Kung’s son in the series. On the other hand, Typhoid Mary is depicted as a skilled sniper and a highly respected assassin.

The character of Davos was played by Sacha Dhawan, while Typhoid Mary was portrayed by Alice Eve.

In The Defenders, Finn Jones made an appearance along with other stars from Netflix’s Marvel shows such as Mike Colter portraying Luke Cage, Krysten Ritter playing Jessica Jones, and Charlie Cox donning the role of Matt Murdock, better known as Daredevil.

Additionally, it’s not only Jones who’s shown interest in resuming their Netflix characters; Krysten Ritter has also expressed a willingness to reprise her role as Jessica Jones should Marvel Studios offer her the opportunity.

Now that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is confirmed to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe again, Jon Bernthal’s Punisher has also surfaced in the series, and there are hints suggesting Luke Cage could join as well – sparking discussions about potential appearances of more characters from the Netflix era.
