In the latest episode of Days of Our Lives, tension reached its peak when Rafe discovered from a news article that EJ might escape accountability for the reported crimes he’s accused of.

As Jada took up her role as commissioner at the police station again, it stirred a tense situation with Shawn, who expressed reservations about their working relationship given their brief past romantic involvement. However, Jada assured him that their bond would remain purely professional – they would be colleagues and friends only.

In my role as a lifestyle advisor, when Shawn brought up the potential response of Rafe regarding our hook-up, I admitted that I hadn’t informed him about it and intended to keep it hidden to shield him from additional heartache. With EJ causing havoc, I disclosed a desperate strategy to put him behind bars.

In the midst of my jitters, I chose to reach out to Belle via text message for some reassurance. Little did I know, Rafe had silently infiltrated our conversation by secretly installing a recording device. When Rafe confronted me about my alleged misdeeds, instead of addressing the issue head-on, I tactfully diffused the situation and sent him on his way.

Later on, Belle encountered Jada who proposed that Belle should hide a recording device to accumulate proof against EJ. Initially hesitant, Belle ultimately consented, wishing to finally incarcerate him once and for all.

At the hotel, Orpheus unexpectedly accosted Marlena. He asserted that he’d broken out of prison and warned he would harm both Marlena and John. In a shrewd action, Marlena deflected his gunshot with her luggage and subdued him. She then tied him up, effectively disarming him.

Upon his arrival, Andrew found Orpheus bound and unresponsive, causing quite a shock. Despite Andrew’s disagreements, Marlena persisted in joining Steve on their quest to find John.

In another location, Steve found himself in an unsecured room where a man resembling John was sprawled on a table, unconscious. Marlena appeared at that moment when Steve was investigating the scene. A wave of fear washed over Marlena as she realized it might be John lying there.
