Adolescence stands out among current television shows due to its ability to captivate viewers with its mix of tension, mystery, and stunning visuals in each episode. Remarkably, four episodes at a time have been released together, leaving viewers in awe of the high-quality camera work, acting talent, and direction.
In response to the recent series that debuted on the streaming service, Netflix has addressed the most commonly asked questions about the show, providing answers on behalf of its cast and production team for “Adolescence.
One user inquired about whether Stephen Graham used paint to cover the van following every unsuccessful take of episode 4. If this is true, how did the cast handle removing it? The streaming service replied, “Indeed, they prepared a specific paint that had the same texture and could adhere to the van. However, it could be easily removed using a high-pressure water jet after each take.
Additionally, the series has earned accolades for its impressive technology and ability to film entire sequences without interruption for extended periods. A common query pertains to the rig mounted on the van – some viewers may wonder why it wasn’t noticeable during the scenes shown on screen.
Netflix disclosed that there were two vans involved in the production. The initial van appears at the start of the episode when Eddie is cleaning graffiti. After they return to the house, the film crew exchanged the vans for one equipped with a camera setup on its front.
Netflix explained that “As they exit their home and climb into the vehicle, the camera continues to focus on them because it’s mounted on a rig at the front.
All the episodes of Adolescence are available to stream on Netflix.
