In the game “Every Day We Fight,” the optimal build for the character Leo, who serves as the Thorns’ designated support, focuses on enhancing his teammates within the resistance.
In the strategy game with turn-based combat and roguelike elements, as your characters progress and level up, you’ll earn Skill Points that allow you to activate their abilities. Each character, or Thorn, has three skill categories to choose from, offering unique skills and advantages. Although you’ll eventually gain enough experience points to unlock most of the skills – although not all, as some skills prevent others from being chosen – it will take time to reach this point. Therefore, having a plan for which abilities to prioritize unlocking first can help you get started more efficiently.
In addition, you have the flexibility to return your Skill Points and redistribute them at your convenience, encouraging exploration. This newbie’s manual will walk you through the process of creating Leo into a supportive character.
Skill priorities for Leo in EDWF
Leo’s primary talent to hone is referred to as “Empowering Ally“. This ability enables him to share some of his Action Points (AP) with an ally, regardless of their location or proximity, making it a highly potent skill. If you’re in need of a healer, it would be advantageous to prioritize acquiring “Supportive Role” and “Gain Strength from Giving” as they restore Health Points (HP) to the target and reduce the cost of the move, allowing Leo to preserve more AP.
Instead, we recommend making Damage Control and Giving Nature your top priorities. Damage Control enhances the damage received by your chosen target, while Giving Nature increases the AP (Action Points) generated by donations. This dual advantage enables your allies to attack more frequently and deal additional damage, which is extremely beneficial.
In simpler terms, using Leo’s “Covering Fire” as a quick response is effective, but reinforcing his “Overwatch” through the third pillar proves to be more beneficial. Obtaining “Health Insurance” increases his health points, followed by enhancing abilities like “Eagle-Eyed” and “Stay on Target” will provide cheaper and extended “Overwatch”.
Best weapon for Leo in EDWF
This playstyle isn’t tied to a particular weapon, but the Hailstorm is a solid choice for Leo. It has the smallest ammunition consumption due to its large magazines, reducing the need for frequent reloading. Additionally, it offers a decent balance between range and damage, making it suitable for Overwatch. Since Leo tends to share a lot of his AP with teammates, he may have slightly fewer resources at his disposal.
