In the previous month, FromSoftware held the inaugural Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test. This test experienced complications to such an extent that they considered extending the testing period because of the difficulties players encountered over the weekend it was active.
As a die-hard Elden Ring enthusiast, I’m eagerly waiting for the next network test announcement from Bandai Namco, but in the meantime, they’ve shared some fascinating insights from the Nightreign Network Test. Unsurprisingly, numerous players, including myself, met our demise, resulting in a loss of XP.

Bandai Namco’s summary of data highlights the number of foes vanquished, the attacks employed to rescue Nightfarers, and additional details. Interestingly enough, it appears that a staggering 37 BILLION runes were forfeited during the Network Test. For those who might be unaware, players collect runes upon defeating enemies, which are crucial for character advancement.
Check out the stats revealed in one handy table below.

Elden Ring: Nightreign deviates from the standard format of Souls-like games produced by FromSoftware. Instead, it offers a unique, self-contained journey set within the universe of Elden Ring, with multiplayer experiences at its core. Notably, while you can play it alone, the game focuses more on three-player cooperative gameplay.
In contrast to the primary Elden Ring game, this version will not offer the feature for players to leave messages within the game. The developers have shared their rationale behind this decision.
The highly anticipated game Elden Ring: Nightreign is set for launch on May 30th, available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms. While no specifics have been announced regarding a beta or demo prior to release, it’s not entirely unlikely that one might be unveiled.
