As an ardent admirer, let me share a behind-the-scenes tale from The Handmaid’s Tale set. You know Elisabeth Moss? Well, she disclosed on Jimmy Kimmel’s show that one of our beloved staff members snatched my custom underwear when the filming concluded! Can you believe it? Apparently, a list of items up for grabs was sent to us cast and crew members after the shoot wrapped up. Quite an unusual souvenir, don’t you think?
In my conversation with the previous Oscar host, I openly shared that when I first laid eyes on the list, I boldly claimed each item as mine. However, there was one particular item that truly piqued my interest – Offred’s undergarment from the series, which she had personally worn.
Moss explained, “In a grown-up manner, I replied ‘dibs’ and then expressed everything I needed. There was one item I desired, which was Offred’s on-set undergarment that I wore. That particular piece was custom-made. Later, someone informed me that someone else had previously requested it.
Intrigued by the actress’s disclosure, I found myself taken aback when hearing about a crew member on our show taking home her undergarments as a keepsake. Even more surprising was the fact that they were kept in storage for several days. Much like the actress, I can only hope that this unexpected discovery represents the best-case scenario!
The host of the talk show kept staring at the actress in astonishment and jokingly commented, “That’s quite an unusual thing to say! Oh my goodness, I really hope it’s a woman. Somebody officially requested your underwear, as if in a written letter, in an email they forwarded to others. We must discover who sent that message.
Instead, Elizabeth Moss confirmed that she plans to discover who stole the valuable item from the set and then share her findings with Jimmy Kimmel.
