In a heartfelt TikTok post, she reminisced about a cherished memory from a wedding they went to in Paris the previous year. Sadly, Liam Payne lost his life in Argentina in October 2024, at the age of 31.

Kate Cassidy found herself feeling emotional while organizing her old possessions, and stumbled upon a yellow wedding gown she wore with Payne in September 2024 (as reported by Page Six). “This dress brings me such serenity and solace,” she expressed in the video. “It’s a memory that will forever remain etched in my mind.

As an absolutely smitten attendee, I’d say the wedding I recently graced was nothing short of breathtaking. It was my very first time experiencing such an event, and let me tell you, it was truly unforgettable! Sharing a little piece of this joy, I can confidently say that every moment was pure bliss.

As Cassidy sifted through yet another container, she stumbled upon a barely used pair of Christian Louboutin heels to match her yellow gown. Memories flooded back of those same shoes, now worn and scuffed, from the evening she danced the night away with Payne.

Cassidy remembered waking up the following day and presenting her worn-out shoes to Payne, astonished at their state and unsure of what to do with them. She commented, “I honestly can’t believe I didn’t toss these away, and I’m so grateful [that I didn’t]. This experience is forever tied to these shoes.

Approximately a month post their wedding, it was sadly reported that Liam Payne, a member of One Direction, met his untimely demise in Argentina after falling from the balcony of his hotel. It was later disclosed that he had consumed excessive alcohol prior to the incident. A subsequent police investigation resulted in charges being filed against five individuals, among them two hotel staff members suspected of providing him with illicit substances.

Since the year 2022, Cassidy and Payne had been an item and were looking forward to tying the knot. However, she was in Argentina with him just a handful of weeks prior to his passing, after which she returned to Florida to attend to their pet.
