You Can Find Something Under Hans’ Bed In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Recent Update That Hints At His Feelings For Henry

Summary

  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s latest update has added a bunch of things to the game.
  • One of the most interesting, though, is a romantic poem that can be found under Han’s bed.
  • The poem was previously located elsewhere in the game, but now it’s clearly meant to be referencing him and Henry.

In the latest update of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, there’s been an additional spark ignited in the blossoming relationship between Hans and Henry, as a poem hidden beneath a conspicuous bed now hints at their growing romance.

Perhaps unsurprisingly considering the history surrounding the first game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has faced a fair bit of controversy since it launched. While most agree that it’s a fantastic game and a big step up from the first, it still ended up being a big part of the ongoing culture war due to some of its inclusions.

One significant instance of controversy stemmed from the potential romance between main character Henry and Hans Capon in the game. Although this relationship was entirely player-driven and had a heartwarming conclusion to their bond, it sparked some disagreement and accusations that it wasn’t considered “canonical.” However, the recent update has put an end to that debate.

Lord Hans Is Clearly Thinking About His Love For Henry In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Update

Hey there fellow gamer! Just wanted to share some exciting news about Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – I recently updated the game and found a bunch of cool new features, but the one that’s been grabbing all the attention is the ability to customize Henry’s beard and hair. That’s right, you can now give him a fresh new look!

But

Over on the Kingdom Come: Deliverance subreddit, Redditor Fun-Ad-2823 shared the poem in full and confirmed that it can now be found under Hans’ bed after the latest update. The poem is a romantic one, which refers to a knight and squire sleeping together and playing “with each other’s swords”.

A knight in battle attire,

got into bed with his squire.

Instead of conquering forts,

They played with each other’s swords.

While the book, referred to in-game as “A collection of somewhat bawdy poems”, can be found in other areas of the game such as Trotsky Castle, the fact that it was hidden under Hans’ bed is a nice nod to his feelings for Henry that suggest they’re canon whether the player makes that choice or not (even though they totally should).

To drive the point further, there’s a secretive elixir called Buck’s Blood, said to boost energy, hidden under Hans’ bed. Feel free to decipher its meaning on your own. Despite doubts about who actually penned the poem, it seems to be a subtle yet heartfelt reference to Hans’ genuine feelings.
