Kuttenberg and Trosky, brimming with intriguing characters, tension, and numerous tasks to complete. One such task is the Bellatores side mission, which players can initiate by speaking to Jan Posy in Bylany, Kuttenberg.

In the game Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Henry finds himself aiding Jon Posy in Bellatores. His mission is to rescue his imprisoned brother from the notorious Cumans. This task isn’t particularly complex or time-consuming, but it does present some challenges for players and may require tough decisions along the way. In this tutorial, we will walk you through every step of the Bellatores side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

How To Complete The Bellatores Side Quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

To initiate the Bellatores quest, initially make your way to Kuttenberg. Upon arrival, search for Jan Posy of Zamburg, typically located in Bylany’s northern part within the town. The innkeeper can provide additional guidance if needed, as he should be able to mark Jan Posy on your map upon being asked about news. Once you locate him, engage in conversation and begin the quest.

Later on, he’ll signal for you to join him, so hop on your horse and go. Once you reach the designated spot, Jan Posy may engage in a confrontation with some hostile bandits barricading the path. If you wish to intervene, you can attempt to do so with a skill check.

Find The Priest

Should you successfully pass the test, Jan Posy will release the bandits and offer you several tasks instead. The primary objective is locating the priest, though completing it isn’t mandatory. You might also come across the Halberd positioned at the front of a nearby cart. Notably, finding the priest won’t prove challenging; his lifeless body will be situated to your right, tucked behind a tree, with Jan Posy stationed near the shallow river.

First, relay the information to Posy. Following this, he’ll signal for you to accompany him again. Not long after, you’ll come across a lady in the forest; she’ll clue you in on the Cumans’ whereabouts. Later on, Posy and his associate, Jan, will concoct a strategy. Initially eager to strike the Cumans immediately, Posy can be persuaded (with a skill check) to postpone the attack until nightfall instead.

Defeat The Cumans

If you can present 15 compelling arguments, you might convince Posy. Also, consider asking her to wait while you venture out by yourself at night. This strategy is suggested because there will only be nine Cumans at the camp in total, with four of them resting. It would therefore be more feasible to quietly deal with the five active Cumans alone during the night.

If you don’t manage to carry out a silent ambush and instead tip off the Cumans, they’ll launch an all-out assault against you. In such a case, if you prefer not to employ a covert strategy, then you have the option to engage them in open combat with Jan Posy.

To follow a direct strategy, keep yourself close to Posy throughout the battle, ensuring he doesn’t tumble on the battlefield. Fortunately, if he’s knocked down, he won’t perish. Unfortunately, this will increase the difficulty of the fight. After you’ve vanquished all the Cumans, Posy will rise again, allowing you to proceed with your quest.

Free Mroslav

Following the fight, your next task is to locate Mroslav, Posy’s sibling. He’ll be hidden in a subterranean room smack dab in the center of the wreckage. However, before liberating him, it would be wise to attempt opening the chest on the left side of the encampment first. The lockpick challenge is quite demanding, so if you fail too frequently, you’ll need to search every fallen Cuman for the key. Once unlocked, the chest will contain Groschens and armor.

First, return to Mroslav’s ruins and liberate him. Following this task, converse with Jan Posy in Zamburg. He will compensate you with 500 Groschens as a reward. This completes the Bellatores side mission in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. However, be sure to meet up with him again in a few days since he’ll have another quest for you. It’s advisable not to miss this encounter.
