In Episode 4 of The White Lotus season 3, we were treated to several noteworthy scenes that left viewers eagerly waiting for what’s next. One specific scene that caught everyone’s attention featured Jason Isaacs, Sam Nivola, and Sarah Catherine Hook. Recently, they discussed this intriguing moment in the episode.

According to a chat with TV Insider (on March 11), it came to light that the previously discussed scene was in fact a fabrication, and makeup props called prosthetics were used instead.

In case the viewers are new or missed the previous episode, let me provide some background: During a conversation with his family, Timothy Ratliff (Isaac’s character) was seated in a robe. At one moment, he relaxed, causing his private area to become visible.

Actor Nivola, portraying Lochlan Ratfliff, revealed to the press, “That wasn’t his actual penis,” explaining, “It was a prop.” Meanwhile, Hook (Piper Ratliff) found it amusing and shared that Isaacs was excited about it. She mentioned that in her opinion, the actor “was quite proud of the prop. He really went all out with it.” Nivola further divulged, “He’d say, ‘Today is my fake penis scene!’

On prior occasions, it’s been part of this popular HBO series to feature nude scenes. Previously, Steve Zahn and Theo James both appeared nude in certain episodes.
