Where to find Windward Plains Area 6

The way into Windward Plains Area 6 is situated on the western edge of Area 3, moving towards Area 11. You’ll notice a blue Wedge Beetle dangling from a rocky outcrop close to the South Campsite in Area 3. Duck under this insect and examine the canyon wall on the western side to locate a small overhang for scaling.

Immediately upon grasping the ledge, you’ll activate Area 6. Delve deeper into this concealed region to discover multiple resource caches and the hidden campsite within Area 6: Valley Hideaway. Notably, this camp is one of the few sites where Ancient Wyvern Coins are gathered.

In Monster Hunter Wilds, many of the other areas are generally not hard to find. However, there’s a chance that you might miss a tiny hole in a wall, which can be quite sneaky, especially when you’re preoccupied with tracking monsters or rushing past, or if your camera is pointed at an awkward angle.
