How to save loadouts – Monster Hunter Wilds

As a dedicated Monster Hunter Wilds gamer, I appreciate the convenience that customizable loadouts bring to my hunting expeditions. However, it seems like Capcom has tucked this feature away in some of the game’s more obscure menus. With the ability to create numerous loadouts, I can ensure I’m prepared for any scenario I might encounter. Additionally, the option for separate item pouch loadouts is a game-changer, especially when I need to tailor my gear for specific hunts.

Our Monster Hunter Wilds Equipment Setup Guide demonstrates how to assemble your weapon, armor, and inventory configurations.

Monster Hunter Wilds: How to save loadouts

At any base camp or fully functional temporary shelter, make your way to the equipment selection area. To adjust your armor and weapon configurations, choose the “change equipment” option, either by pressing the left joystick or Shift key. This will open the loadout menu where you can save your current setup as a loadout or modify existing ones. If you wish to alter a particular item, like a Talisman or secondary weapon, you can do so here.

In Monster Hunter Wilds, you have access to more than a hundred customizable equipment loadout options, ensuring a vast range of possibilities for saving your setups and planning for various gameplay situations.

Saving your loadouts might not be immediately obvious, but here’s how it works: To save a loadout, you’ll need to step inside a tent, where the option to edit them can be found under “view loadout.” Wilds provides you with three pre-set item pouch configurations to start with. However, there are more than 90 slots available for you to customize as per your preference.

Make sure to review both your weapon and gear setups prior to embarking on a hunting trip in Monster Hunter World, as each setup is distinct from the other. Adjusting one will not affect the other.
