In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the actress shared that Bill Murray playfully teased and made things challenging for her.
To the host, Jennifer Coolidge mentioned that her collaboration with the Ghostbusters actor (who is also a past member of Saturday Night Live) happened for the first time during the production of Riff Raff.
She openly acknowledged that she didn’t recognize her fellow actors when she agreed to the contract. She emphasized this as one of the reasons such roles are beneficial. To put it simply, she found these experiences particularly rewarding. The actress from American Pie further explained that, while she admires Bill Murray immensely, he can be quite challenging about numerous topics.
During a conversation with Jimmy Kimmel, she reminisced about an interview at the Toronto International Film Festival where Bill Murray was present. It was during the premiere of Riff Raff in September this year. Coolidge shared that after delivering a lengthy monologue about her character, Murray mimicked her by saying something along the lines of “Ugh, my character… oh, this is me pretending to be my character.
Further explaining, the 2 Broke Girls actress mentioned, “I felt like such a chump!”
Jennifer Coolidge shared that no other man would have caused her as much trouble – a unique trait only Bill Murray possessed. On the show, the star of A Night at the Roxbury confessed that sometimes she even finds it amusing when men are rude to her, saying “I secretly enjoy it for a brief moment.
