Recently, Selena Gomez and her fiancé Benny Blanco revisited Jitlada, a renowned LA eatery, reminiscing about their first date there. The engaged couple teamed up with chef Jazz Singsanong in the kitchen to recreate a memorable dish from their romantic evening.
In an Instagram post, a video showed the duo preparing shrimp under Singsanong’s guidance. “Jazz is simply amazing,” Blanco expressed, “she whips up the tastiest dishes.
In a friendly manner, Singsanong complimented both Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco with warm words. She referred to Blanco as the most kind-hearted person on earth and expressed gratitude for their kindness. Her comment read, “I can’t wait to cook at your wedding.
Apart from the story she recounted, she also mentioned a heartwarming anecdote about her music producer regularly contacting her when she was ill. “For three long weeks, I battled a cold, but he reached out to me every other day until I returned to work,” she shared. “Such a fortunate 70-year-old woman! I adore you.
Gomez and Blanco’s romantic bond has also left its mark on their music. They’ve revealed that their forthcoming album, titled “I Said I Love You First,” is slated for release on the 21st of March.
Later on Snapchat, Gomez revealed that her first date had sparked the creation of a song called “Sunset Blvd”, set for release on March 14 in collaboration with Benny Blanco. She also uploaded their first official picture as a couple, depicting them snuggling under a blanket.
Initially, the pair made their romance known to the world in December 2023. Exactly a year after that, Blanco popped the question to Gomez on a soundstage, presenting a marquise diamond ring.
In an interview with Interview magazine, Gomez shared that a diamond had long been a cherished dream of hers since the days of her song “Good for You”, which she mentioned was from quite some time back. She opted to keep the specifics of the proposal under wraps, expressing her desire to preserve those details as special memories for their future generations.
