Monster Hunter Wilds Update 1.020.030 Fixes Monster Size Bug, Assignment Issues and More

Capcom has unveiled an update for Monster Hunter Rise, which addresses a substantial amount of critical improvements. Known as version 1.020.02 by Capcom, PlayStation 5 users will recognize this as Monster Hunter Rise update 1.020.30.

One key improvement made is addressing the giant-sized problem that emerged during the last update, as well as resolving issues related to accepting tasks for Lagiacrus and Seregios, which should now function properly. There are many other enhancements too.

Although there aren’t significant adjustments to gameplay balance, the technical repairs are substantial enough that players will appreciate how swiftly Capcom released the patch.

Monster Hunter Wilds Monster Size Issue and More Resolved in Patch 1.020.030

BUG FIXES AND BALANCE ADJUSTMENTS

In the grand adventure of my gaming world, I managed to resolve a pesky problem that occurred when conversing with Nata. Previously, it seemed like the screen would dim and vanish, halting my journey. But now, thanks to my diligence, I can continue unhindered.

– Fixed an issue where the Seregios assignment could not be reaccepted.

– Fixed an issue where the Lagiacrus assignment could not be reaccepted.

As a gamer, I recently tackled an annoyance with Seikret Customization – a glitch that occasionally reverted my color and decoration choices back to default. If your colors unintentionally got reset but you didn’t fiddle with them since then, don’t worry! Your original settings will be restored. But if you made any changes after the reset, I regret to say that the original settings can’t be brought back.

– Fixed an issue where Lagiacrus could sometimes appear to be floating through the air.

Resolved a problem occurring during underwater battles with Lagiacrus, which prevented Support Hunters from resurfacing post-combat.

– Resolved a problem that caused controls to stop working following a battle with Lagiacrus, either underwater or on land, when playing together with others.

– Fixed an issue where Field Survey History could sometimes be lost.

I’ll rephrase that for you.

“I resolved a problem where certain attacks with the Great Sword, Dual Blades, and Heavy Bowgun didn’t connect correctly when riding Seregios.

As a game enthusiast, I’ve just resolved an issue that was causing monsters’ sizes to fluctuate in my Saved Investigations. Now, they’re back to their original dimensions like before the recent update.

– I resolved a problem that caused the extra damage effect from maintaining an attack while using Charge Blade’s Power Axe mode to use up more durability (sharpness) than planned.

– Fixed an issue where Pop-up Camp site locations would change under certain conditions.

– Fixed other miscellaneous issues.

If it’s been a while since you last played, there was a new update (Patch 2) released towards the end of last month. This update introduced some new creatures, customizable equipment with additional layers, and other enhancements to the game.

Once more info about Patch 3 is revealed, we’ll let our readers know.
