On March 5, 2025, during an exchange between Adam and Chelsea on The Young and the Restless, Billy unexpectedly arrived, leading Adam to believe that Billy was targeting him and the Newman media empire.
Billy asserted it wasn’t accurate and wouldn’t accept it as true, leading to a disagreement between them. Later on, Billy disclosed that he was trying to leverage his advantage for good instead.
Adam, being sarcastic, remarked that Phyllis helped him with it. While on a call, Billy observed this interaction from Adam. Subsequently, the viewers witnessed Chelsea expressing apologies for Adam’s behavior.
In no time, they began discussing Connor and the ranch. At this point, Billy raised a query regarding Sally’s possible reunion with Adam, expressing his worry that he might cause her harm. The topic of Sally came up in their conversation, where Billy mentioned they were satisfied with each other. Later on, Billy ensured to give Chelsea a heads-up about Adam.
After Adam returned, he instructed Billy to depart. This prompted Chelsea to ponder about Adam’s unusual behavior. Later, Adam explained that Billy shouldn’t meddle in their private affairs. Chelsea wondered if Adam felt endangered, but he dismissed the idea.
Afterwards, she inquired whether he had truly moved past Sally, to which he affirmed. Next, he questioned if she was beyond Billy herself. Tired of observing their squabbles, Chelsea decided it was time for them to cease their accusations about not having moved on. Adam consented and she reminded him that they still needed to work through certain aspects in their relationship dynamics.
Instead, we find Victor and Nikki meeting up with Jack and Diane at the GCAC. After a conversation, the viewers saw Victor privately confront Jack about inciting Billy to challenge Newman Media. Victor questioned Jack’s motives, stating that they would not emerge victorious in this competition. In response, Jack proposed a ceasefire, which was rejected by Victor.
At a later point, Jack and Billy encounter each other, discuss their recent encounters with the Newman family. Meanwhile, the viewers witness Sally approaching Billy to express her gratitude for his press release. The scene concludes with them sharing a passionate kiss.
