Michelle Trachtenberg, recognized widely for her portrayal as Georgina Sparkles in Gossip Girl, tragically passed away at her New York apartment at the age of 39. Prior to her demise, she wrote the script for Toy Monster, but the studios chose not to consider it.
After Trachtenberg’s passing, her dialogue scripts for a possible movie were reportedly given to producer Casey Tebo. However, it seemed that the Hollywood entertainment world wasn’t yet prepared to explore that aspect of the actress.
During an interview with People Magazine, Tebo mentioned that Jay Cohen, the deceased actress’s boyfriend, had given him a copy of the script. Remarkably, the producer recalled only two scripts in recent years that left such an impression: “Here Comes the Flood” by Simon Kinberg and “Toy Monster,” around 2019. These were the standouts, far surpassing others in quality.
Tebo shared that he received Sarah Michelle Gellar’s script on the day she passed away, with plans to adapt it for screen. On his social platform, the producer emphasized that he’s making every effort to move forward. He just needs a skilled director, and production on the film could start immediately.

According to authorities, Michelle Trachtenberg was discovered unconscious in her New York apartment. Despite initial fears, it’s been confirmed she’s alive. However, officials are still investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
