At this year’s Oscars, which took place on March 2nd, there were numerous memorable instances, yet it was Halle Berry’s kiss shared with Adrien Brody during the red carpet event that sparked the most conversation. Adrien Brody was accompanying his girlfriend, Georgina Chapman, at the time.

For those who may not be aware, in 2003, an actor from The Grand Budapest Hotel received an Oscar which was presented by Berry. During the ceremony, they shared a surprise kiss on stage, and recently, at the same grand event, she repeated that gesture with another kiss.

Chapman seemed quite content with the situation. In her conversation with Extra, she expressed, “That was quite something, wasn’t it?” She also added, “Come on, who could refuse a kiss from Halle Berry?”, indicating that she had no problems with it. Furthermore, she emphasized that he was completely okay with it by saying, “He handled it well.

Actress Halle Berry expressed to the media outlet, “I’ve waited 21 years for this moment to share a kiss with him on the red carpet.” She added that the kiss occurred because Georgina was comfortable with it.

It turned out that there were other factors behind Brody’s media attention as well. Additionally, he received an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in The Brutalist, a film also featuring Felicity Jones, Joe Alwyn, Raffey Cassidy, Emma Laird, and several others.

This marked Brody’s second Academy Award after his 2003 win for The Pianist.
