Previously employed as a production assistant on the series “Gossip Girl,” an individual named Ewood recently claimed that Blake Lively displayed rude and unprofessional behavior towards her colleagues while filming scenes in Paris in 2010.
At that point in time, he was 23 years old and yearning for practical knowledge within the television realm. Part of his responsibilities involved supplying water bottles to the trailers of both Blake Lively and Leighton Meester.
Although Meester welcomed him cordially, Ewood mentioned that Lively appeared to ignore him when he greeted her. He explained to the Daily Mail that she neither responded nor showed any recognition, making him feel as though he wasn’t even there.
Ewood characterized Lively’s behavior on set as arrogant and disrespectful. He pointed out that she seemed to act like a schoolyard bully. In interactions with the crew, it was her condescending tone of voice, as if they were young children, that stood out. If she wasn’t getting what she desired, she would create a fuss.
Additionally, he observed a difference in the way the two principal actresses engaged with their fans. Leighton was consistently approachable for fan photos, whereas Blake seemed to be short on time.
As a lifestyle expert, I must confess that working near Chloe Lively’s trailer was an awkward and challenging experience for me. She had a knack for making offhand, passive-aggressive comments that left me feeling like an outsider. However, it was a breeze to be around Leighton Meester, who, in my opinion, showed kindness towards everyone on set.
For Ewood, landing a role on Gossip Girl was a significant break, an aspiration he’d tirelessly pursued. However, as time went by, his initial enthusiasm began to wane when he observed some questionable conduct attributed to Lively towards the team.
When the shooting ended, Leighton Meester inquired about his future ambitions and expressed good wishes upon hearing about his aspiration to be a singer. On the other hand, Blake Lively didn’t acknowledge him at all.
In retrospect, he found it amusing that while Meester portrayed a rude character on-screen, it was Lively who, based on his personal encounters, seemed to embody such a demeanor off-screen.
After the news broke about Lively’s legal dispute with director Justin Baldoni over allegations of sexual harassment, body shaming, and defamation, Ewood chose to share his own related experiences.
To set the record straight, I vehemently refuted the accusations against me and took legal action against Blake Lively and her spouse, Ryan Reynolds, by filing a $400 million defamation and extortion lawsuit.
In the midst of recent uproar, past interviews of mine have been brought back into light, among which lies a questionable joke targeted at Meester’s history. Additionally, a fellow journalist shared their experience, stating that an interview with me left them feeling traumatized and contemplating leaving the industry altogether.
