Where To Find Dapperwings in Monster Hunter Wilds

Previously mentioned, the Dapperwings can be found dwelling in the Scarlet Forest zone within Monster Hunter Wilds. Although they inhabit various parts of this region, our observations indicate a greater abundance in forest areas numbered 12, 13, 14, and 17.

Instead of going straight to Scarlet Forest area 13, first navigate your way towards it, then progress to area 14 across the vine-covered paths. As you ascend, pay close attention to the trees lining your route. You’ll notice birds perched on their branches – those are the elusive Dapperwings that Samin has been searching for.

As a keen gamer, if you’re having trouble spotting those elusive creatures amidst the foliage, I’d suggest giving a closer look at the start of the area where there’s a fallen tree. How To Capture Dapperwings in Monster Hunter Wilds

When you find the elusive Dapperwings camouflaged among the foliage, it’s time to snag them for Samin. To catch these unique inhabitants of this world, you’ll need a Capture Net. Activate the Capture Net by pointing it at the Dapperwings on the tree and pressing L2/LT.

In this game, you’ll see a square grid that represents the capture zone. Gather the birds inside this square and aim for the hook-slinger using R2. Once you hit him, you’ve successfully caught the Dapperwings!
