At the DiMera mansion, they were staging a deception when EJ DiMera entered the scene, causing the entire charade to unravel. Now, there’s uncertainty: will Amy perceive their scheme and potentially threaten their chances of adopting Sophia’s child?

In the meantime, Jada Hunter is dealing with troubles of her own. After accidentally sleeping with Shawn Brady following the mix-up involving Rafe Hernandez and Arnold Feniger, she’s burdened by guilt. She finds it hard to come to terms with what happened, and the DNA test results from Kayla Johnson haven’t arrived yet to provide clarity. As EJ keeps maneuvering events, the confusing identities in Salem will only become more tangled.

In other places, a sense of unease escalates between EJ and Paulina during a strong argument. Although Paulina doesn’t possess solid evidence of EJ’s wrongdoings, she is certain that he’s involved in something suspicious and will not think twice before accusing him.

At the Horton residence, Holly Jonas expresses her feelings openly towards Doug Williams III. She’s drawn to Tate Black and politely turns down Doug’s romantic intentions. Despite his kindness, she clarifies that it’s Tate who holds her affections. Whether they can stay friends or if some space is needed hasn’t been decided yet.
