Get Ready for Laughs and Screams in ‘The Parenting’ Trailer Starring Lisa Kudrow!

Max has recently revealed the teaser for their upcoming original movie titled “The Parenting,” which combines elements of witty screwball comedy and spine-tingling haunted house suspense. This highly anticipated production, slated to premiere on March 13th, 2025, boasts an exceptional cast. The film presents a fresh take by interweaving chilling supernatural aspects with family dynamics and laughter.

The story, titled “The Parenting,” centers on characters Rohan (portrayed by Nik Dodani) and Josh (Brandon Flynn), a duo embarking on a rural getaway. Their objective? To orchestrate a weekend gathering where they bring together their respective parents for the first time.

As the couple, accompanied by their eccentric friend Sara (Vivian Bang), find themselves, the plot thickens in their vacation home, where they encounter not only family disagreements but an ominous entity lurking within. The atmosphere becomes increasingly tense as the traditional duo, Sharon (Edie Falco) and Frank (Brian Cox), butt heads with the more laid-back Liddy (Lisa Kudrow) and Cliff (Dean Norris). Upon unearthing a 400-year-old poltergeist haunting the house, the tension escalates even further.

The movie’s preview hints at the mayhem that unfolds, featuring a spooky episode involving a dog supposedly possessed and an unusual scene where Cox’s character walks naked through the haunted mansion. Brandon Flynn’s character humorously expresses the ridiculousness in the teaser, saying, “I’m trapped in a haunted house with my parents.“.

Something incredibly troubling is unfolding within this household… The series “The Parenting” debuts on March 13, only on Max.
