In the massive online realm of Monster Hunter Wilds, it’s simple to get swept away. But if you prefer to embark on this adventure alone, there’s an Offline Mode for that! We’ll guide you through the steps to make it happen.
Monster Hunter Wilds online offers a vast world to explore, yet if solitude is more your style, you can opt for Offline Mode. Here, we’ll walk you through the unique method required to set it up.
How do you play Monster Hunter Wilds in Offline Mode?
Initially, when you open the Monster Hunter Wilds main menu, you might not see an Offline Mode option. But don’t worry! You can access this mode by choosing Online Single Player and then disconnecting from the internet on your device. If you’re already playing the game, a message will pop up to let you know that you are now in Offline Mode.
Another option is to deactivate your internet connection and engage in Single Player mode offline for an identical experience. Upon doing so, a message stating ‘Cannot connect to server’ will appear. Simply click the Close button on this notification twice, and it will direct you towards the Offline Mode of Monster Hunter Wilds.
In Offline Mode, it functions much like an offline lobby, lacking cooperative features. Yet, when in need, you can use the SOS Flares for assistance as NPC allies will temporarily join your team. Additionally, you have the ability to pause the game if required. A bonus is that your progress carries over to the online version once you decide to switch.
