In the recent episode 4 Part 2 of Blue Exorcist, titled ‘The Blue Night,’ the immense power of baby Rin wreaked havoc. Simultaneously, Satan’s mental state declined, causing him to confuse Lucifer with Yuri and launch an attack against him. As a result, Lucifer’s physical form was obliterated, forcing Satan’s spirit to traverse Japan in search of a new vessel.
Many Exorcists perish when Satan takes control of their bodies due to their physical weakness. Shemihaza manages to resist Satan’s influence and instructs the Grigori to take Shiemi away. In another location, Yuri delivers twins named Rin and Yukio, and Shiro seals Rin’s demonic heart within the Kurikara sword before it can be taken over by Satan, who had intended to possess a Paladin.
In Episode 9 of Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga, Shiro manages to imprison Rin’s demonic core using the Koma Sword, thereby temporarily freeing him from his demonic essence and enabling him to reunite with Yuri. Yet, Satan takes control over the Holy Knight Abel, as his affection for Yuri intensifies into an uncontrollable fixation.
Undisturbed by her speech, he may find himself overwhelmed and try to seize control of Shiro’s physical form. To stop Satan from gaining dominion, Shiro will resort to bold measures, igniting a fierce conflict that could significantly influence the course of Blue Night events. In this episode, we might witness the end of the flashback storyline, possibly emphasizing Yuri’s demise and Shiro’s nurturing role towards the infants.
