On Thursday, Gene Hackman, his wife, and their pet dog were discovered deceased. Further investigations into their deaths have uncovered that Betsy Arakawa’s body had symptoms of bloating and mummification on her hands and feet at the scene. The trio met their end at their residence in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The autopsy report acquired by TMZ indicated that the renowned pianist’s body exhibited clear indications of decease, with signs such as facial bloating, body decomposition, and mummification in her hands and feet.

As per Associated Press reports, the award-winning actor was tragically found deceased in the mudroom of their residence, while his wife was discovered in the bathroom with a space heater and nearby. Simultaneously, their German Shepherd was located near Arakawa, and two other seemingly healthy dogs were present on the property as well.

The warrant indicated that the circumstances surrounding their deaths were “sufficiently mysterious to necessitate a comprehensive search and examination.” (or “enough to warrant a detailed investigation and search.”)

On Wednesday, I was informed that there were bodies discovered, and as per the local sheriff, it wasn’t until 12:30 a.m. on Thursday that the authorities were able to identify the deceased.

Currently, the Public Information Officer’s announcement indicates that “there’s no sign of foul play contributing to the recent deaths. The specific causes of these deaths are still under investigation.

Additionally, TMZ was informed by the sheriff that the actor, his spouse, and their pet had been found deceased over a day before authorities located them.

Gene Hackman is survived by his three kids, whom he shared with his ex-wife.
